Ever since the second season of Lost a few of my friends and I made a deal to watch the episodes together. Sometimes a few of us could not be there because of Uni/work commitments, or because of travel constraints but on a whole at least four of us made it every week. Needless to say we were pretty psyched for the finale! We decided to have a dress-up party to celebrate the final episode of our favourite TV show. In the end, 12 of us made it to the party and oh my gosh, the ending was amazing. I felt it wrapped the show up perfectly.
Now, I won't spoil anything for those of you who haven't seen it yet. Instead I will show you some of the hilarious costumes my family and friends came up with.

I am trying to fill my Lost void with other TV series. I have started Supernatural and Gossip Girl, both of which I really like so far!
Did any of you watch the Lost finale? What did you think? What is your favourite TV series? I'm looking for suggestions!

ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle of Gossip Girl season 3 and it's great! I'm sure you will love it. I also love Glee :) And my other absolute fave tv shows are Alias and Friends!!
Eeep! I realise I haven't answered your questions...I bought the lined version of the pale green journal (they didn't have the blank one when I went). Ohh and pink journals on sale! I should've seen it.
Being married was a huge change for me too because I also lived with my parents my whole life. But it's a great change!
At least you can play piano. I can do some easy songs. Wish I was better too.
Hehe yes mail is just lovely. And don't worry the journal swap will happen very soon! I need to organise myself a bit better. Oh and I just used scrapbook paper for the cd covers. It's from this paper pack called Whimsy or something. I love it!
Lol aww you should go to the Finders Keepers. It's for two days so I'm sure I will go to both of them. Maybe we can meet up? :)

ReplyDeleteAs for the TV show debacle, I gave up on Lost during season 2 as well. It just got to be too annoying. But I LOOOOVE Fringe. I used to watch the X-files so that sci-fi supernatural aspect is appealing, plus it's got the intrigue of LOST but so far, these last two season it hasn't been as frustrating. Don't jump ahead though, it is like LOST in that you need to watch it in order to really appreciate it!
Season 1 is on DVD and season 2 should be by the end of summer.

This is hilarious! Lost is, by far, one of my favorite TV shows of all time, and although I'm sad it's over, I feel we parted on good terms. :-)
