:: For the Love of Flowers ::

Mr LG and I went to the Brisbane Markets the other weekend. We had a great time looking at all the fresh produce and yummy meats. But my favourite section was the flowers. There was only a small flower section, but there was more than enough to make me happy!
We ended up buying a bunch of bright purple flowers, a bunch of lovely tiny white flowers and a bunch of pale pink flowers. I'm not a flower buff, so I have no idea what they're called! We had enough to fill three vases. 

We put one in our kitchen:

I love the difference flowers can make to a room. They instantly brighten the place up, not to mention the yummy smells! This Spring/Summer I want to make a conscious effort to purchase more flowers. I think they'll be a good remedy for those days when you just feel meh.

What are you favourite flowers? I love jasmine (haha) and lavender (I know, I know). I also love hydrangeas, and roses. And I love how fun and happy gerbera's are!

    I love fresh flowers (or plants) in the house- they brighten things up so much! Yours are lovely and cheerful!

    Love the flowers. So pretty! I love that first photo how he is blurry and the flowers are clear. It looks so great!

    i love that you stilll have a record deck. We still have one too and sometimes like to get the old LP's out for a turn :) Simple Minds. Live in The City of LIght is always a good one for reminising :)
    Oh, my favourite flowers are sweet Peas which ive never been successful at growing :( I love flowers and usually treat myself for the house x

    I love your flowers!! Pretty! My favorite flowers are lilies, but I also love gerbera daisies, sunflowers, and roses. My wedding bouquet was white lilies, coral gerberas, and yellow roses, with some white daisies and little green flowers called pinocchios as filler. I LOVED it :)

    flowers perk a place up so much! i bought some sunflowers this w/e and they have the perfect spot on my table :)

    I'm with you in the flower love! Our dining table is currently sporting a beautiful bunch of pink roses! My favourites are - gladioli, snap dragons, roses, tulips, gardenias!

    They're so purrrddyy! I can't have flowers around the place anymore as my kitten and rabbit combined have scant regard for glass vases plus hard wood floor and destroy everything in sight! :(

    Those flowers are soo pretty. I have to visit the markets more often. I think we need more market dates :)
    I love lavender. I think the smell is divine and it looks so pretty. I like roses, daisies, peonies and gerbera's are so fun.

    Flowers are always wonderful :) I love these pictures, they are too cute!! I'm sorry I haven't been by, my laptop is in the workshop it's been three weeks now!! I am so mad and sad, I want my laptop back!!
